However, the only real kit piece that has an out is the Kick. I used Native Instruments Abbey Road Vintage Drummer (Ebony Kit) and I reconfigured Kontakt for multiple outputs.
The first song (Dancing With the Moon) is a lot different: I fed them into a drum bus containing the Studer A800.įrom there, I feed the Drum bus to the output containing a Fairchild 670, Ampex ATR-102, and finally Izotope Ozone for "mastering" (and, no, I don't use the presets)įor a drum room, I created a small, tight room using RealVerb (I really like that one and want to give DreamVerb a shot). Mind you, these drum tracks used a bunch of native plug-ins on the individual kits pieces, namely Native Instruments SuperCharger GT, Transient Master and Solid EQ.
I'll start with the second (Running Out of Time):īFD3 multi-out using the Andy Johns Classic Drums pack (my absolute favorite pack). Only pride I can take in them is that I believe I rolled them in my finest glitter.įirst two songs, as well as the sixth are using UAD plug-ins (hey, I'm a late bloomer), with the first song being one that I tracked fully using the Apollo using the Neve 1073 Unison, and I loved how it turned out.Īs far as processing goes, I may as well stick to the UAD ones because I love what I did there. If you click on "All Songs" I think you'll find some real turds lying on the bottom. The songs in the player are more recent and ones I am more fond of. Chilcott Music, Lyrics, Songs, and Videos
Time to throw myself to the wolves: Jordan L. Would any of you mind sharing a link to a mix or work in progress with your VST drums? Also explaining what processing is going on? I've read A LOT about superior, have owned EZD but my default is AD2.I guess this is my cue to either $#!T or get off the potty
